For those visiting Iriomote Island

The nearest Uehara Port, is vulnerable to swells caused by northerly winds because its shipping route passes through the open ocean.
Between October and March, there is an 80% chance of cancellation.
There is a high possibility that you will enter Iriomote Iriomote Island from Ohara Port.

Please read the "Notes for when your flight Uehara Port is cancelled" below.
Please take the free shuttle bus from Ohara Port operated by Anei Kanko directly to the inn.

【About transportation】
Starting in November 2025, we will no longer provide shuttle service from Ishigaki to Bound for Uehara Port before 1:30 PM.
Please come by Anei Kanko's free shuttle bus, rental car, or local bus.
Please note that when ferry services Uehara Port are cancelled, there will be no shuttle service to our facility.

    Fly to New Ishigaki Airport.Take a bus from New Ishigaki Airport to Ishigaki Remote Island Terminal.
    ↓
    Approximately 50 minutes by high-speed boat from Ishigaki Remote Island Terminal.
    ↓
    Approximately 5 minutes by car from Uehara Port Iriomote Island.
    *When Uehara Port is cancelled:It takes about an hour by free shuttle bus from Ohara Port to Anei Kanko.
    The facility is about a 3-minute walk from Hoshizuna no Hama stop.

  • 【Important notices when Uehara Port are cancelled】

    During the winter on Iriomote Island, there is an approximately 80% chance that Uehara Port will be canceled due to the influence of northerly winds.
    If Uehara Port is cancelled, when purchasing tickets at the Anei Kanko ticket counter,
    Please be sure to get a round-trip ticket Bound for Uehara Port and a free shuttle bus ticket.
    *If you buy a ticket to Uehara Port leaving from Bound for Ohara Port, you will be left behind at Ohara Port.

    Take the boat to Bound for Uehara Port ticket Bound for Ohara Port Ohara Port Port, where the free shuttle bus operated by Anei Kanko Kanko will be waiting. Get on that bus and get off at the "Hoshizuna no Hama stop.
    The facility is about a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.
    *When ferry services to Uehara Port are cancelled, our facility will not provide transportation to Uehara Port, so please be careful not to get off at Uehara Port stop.

    There are times when Anei Kanko does not have a shuttle bus.Please also check Official website of Anei Kanko.
    *Yaeyama Tourism Ferry shuttle bus only goes from Ohara Port to Uehara Port and from Uehara Port to Ohara Port.
    Please be careful.
